Privacy policy

Effective 29 October 2026 · Last updated 29 October 2026

The short version
  • We don't store the pages you scan or their results.
  • If you join early access, we keep your email and your answers, and use them only to tell you about Doorwide.
  • If you buy the Fix Kit, our payment partner Lemon Squeezy handles the payment. We never see your card details.
  • No accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies. We never sell your data.

1. Who we are

Doorwide is a free website accessibility checker at getdoorwide.com, run by an independent founder based in New Delhi, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Doorwide. You can reach us at hello@getdoorwide.com.

2. Pages you scan

When you scan a page, your browser sends the page address directly to the Google PageSpeed Insights service. Google loads the public page, runs its Lighthouse accessibility checks and sends the results back to your browser, where the report is built.

  • We do not receive, log or store the addresses you scan or the results.
  • The address you scanned appears in your browser's address bar so you can share the report link. Anyone you share that link with can see which page you scanned.
  • Google processes the request under the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Early access sign ups

If you join the early access waitlist, we collect:

  • your email address
  • your main website, if you choose to give it
  • how many websites you look after
  • which plan you were interested in

We use this only to contact you about early access, launch pricing and important changes to Doorwide. We store it using the form service of our hosting provider, Netlify. We never sell it or share it for advertising.

4. Purchases

When you buy the Doorwide Fix Kit, the order is processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment details, handles sales tax and issues your receipt under the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.

We receive your name, email address, country and order details so we can deliver the kit, handle refunds and answer your questions. We never receive your full card details.

5. Technical data

Like any website, our hosting provider Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't follow you to other websites.

6. Cookies and tracking

Doorwide sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross site tracking tools. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) work without cookies. When you go to checkout, Lemon Squeezy may set cookies that its payment page needs to work.

7. Legal basis

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or a similar jurisdiction, we process waitlist details because you asked us to contact you (your consent), order details because we need them to deliver what you bought (a contract), and technical and analytics data because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, working and useful.

8. How long we keep your details

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them, unsubscribe, or until we close the waitlist, whichever comes first. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own policy.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the details we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@getdoorwide.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, note that we do not sell or share personal information.

10. Where your data is processed

Our service providers, Netlify, Google, Cloudflare and Lemon Squeezy, may process data in the United States and other countries. They use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where the law requires them.

11. Children

Doorwide is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant and you are on the waitlist, we will email you.
